Urban Sketching Workshop

Draw your best life–starting now! This beginner-friendly, 90-minute workshop will cover fundamental methods and techniques anyone can use to start drawing from observation, even if they have no background in art. "But I can only draw a stick figure!" We hear it all the time. But by 1:30 PM, you'll be a budding artist who knows the method behind the magic. It all begins under the iconic clock in the main hall of Grand Central Terminal, where you'll be provided materials and guided through three exercises that deepen your appreciation for the environment and your ability to represent it through original sketches. Unlike your typical "Paint n' Sip" experiences, you'll actually learn core skills that can be used anywhere, anytime. That way, you can visit other landmarks in the city and document your experience with confidence. Host, Kevin Zych, has taught classes for over 5 years to people around the world.
