You'll first plan out your trip with your guide, selecting from a number of different trail options. Fred Burr Reservoir is the standard trail option. We plan to snowshoe about 4 mi on the 2-3 hr tour and as much as 9 mi on the 4-6 hr tour. Hikes are generally appropriate for beginners/intermediate snowshoers and hikers, but can be made more difficult for those looking for more of a challenge!
Along the way, your guide will identify trees and any living creatures that dare brave the cold temperatures! You will also learn about winter hiking safety, navigation, and survival tips!
At your destination of choice, your guide will prepare fresh tea, coffee, or hot cocoa! Your guide also carries a plethora of snacks to get you through your day!
Your guide carries all essential hiking gear, gps communicator, safety equipment, and is wilderness first responder and leave no trace certified!
