Mesa Verde National Park
Step back in time and experience the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who called Mesa Verde home for more than 700 years, from 600 C.E. to 1300 C.E. Your Mesa Verde guided group tours from Durango give you a chance to see some of the most remarkable cliff dwellings and archaeological sites in North America, led by an archaeologist-trained guide who brings history to life.
Mesa Verde National Park protects over 80 square miles, more than 5,000 archaeological sites, and nearly 600 cliff dwellings, including the world-famous Cliff Palace. While this specific group tour does not include entry into Cliff Palace itself, you will enjoy incredible overlooks, mesa-top sites, and many of the park’s most iconic viewpoints.
