What makes this tour unique is that your guide will customize your experience based on your interests.
All guests will experience the same walk through the Metcalfe crevice, Duncan Caves and a break at the waterfall. However, your guide will work with you to customize the loop into the falls and back, giving you the ability to “choose your own adventure” on your way back. There are three different route options, varying in length from 8.5km to 10.5km (5hrs). Some offer more beautiful lookouts, others more cave and crevice exploration opportunities.
Consider pairing your hike with a visit to the Roost Winery only 2.5km from the start and end location.
- Knowledgeable, competent guide(s) trained in first Aid, Wilderness Survival & extensive experience.

415400-, 415598 10 Line, Ravenna. Your guide will meet you at the Metcalfe Rock Parking lot. This is a small grass parking lot there is a sign at the entrances. Further instructions and directions will be provided upon booking your tour.

Hike Description: Enjoy a guided 9.5km - 10.5km (5hrs) hike at Metcalfe Rock and through the Duncan Escarpment Provincial Nature Reserve. The hike starts a short distance from the Metcalfe crevice where you will explore the crevice caves. The caves are open to the sky for those uneasy with tight spaces. You will then ascend to the top of Metcalfe Rock enjoying several lookout points along the way over the Kolapore Creek Valley. Your guide will then lead you through a mature forest containing ancient white cedars, apple trees and several deep crevices; before reaching a beautiful waterfall just over midway through the hike. We will stop for a well deserved break and lunch while we enjoy the waterfall, before returning back to the starting location.

- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Service animals allowed
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
